Administrator

Rhonda oversees the direction and coordination of all aspects of resident care, customer service, budgetary control and regulatory compliance.

Rhonda has over 34 years experience and has been a Licensed Vocational Nurse for the past 21 years. Rhonda became the facility’s licensed Administrator in March of 2009.

Hermelinda Mendoza
Food Services Supervisor In Training

Hermelinda helps oversee quality of food, proper cleanliness and that every resident’s nutritional needs are met.

Hermelinda has over 17 years experience in the facility's Dietary Department, first beginning her career as a dietary aide then cook.  Currently, Hermelinda is the Dietary Supervisor in Training.

Lorraine Sims, RN
Director of Nursing

Lorraine is in charge of overseeing all nursing responsibilities. She works closely with residents, family, physicians and nursing staff to assure all residents are safe and content as well as receive the best care and clinical outcomes possible.

Lorraine has over 8 years experience in skilled nursing.  She first began her career in a Magnolia sister facility as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.  After obtaining valuable experience, Lorraine returned to College of the Sequoias to become a Registered Nurse.

Mary Aza
Social Services Designee

Mary works with residents and family members to ensure each resident’s transition into the facility is smooth and that their individuality is considered in all aspects of their care. Mary begins the process of planning for the resident's future on the very first day of admission, so the entire team has a direction of care.

Mary has over 23 years experience as the facility’s Social Services Designee.

Betty Mendoza, LVN
Director of Staff Development

Betty provides staff training and in-service education. She also oversees and provides direction to Certified Nurse Assistants, monitors for infection control and ensures residents receive daily quality care.

Betty graduated from Bakersfield College as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.

Beatriz Rodriquez
Activities Designee

Beatriz oversees a full service activity program for our residents.

Beatriz has over 5 years experience in activities.  She first began her career as an activities assistant.  Today, Beatriz provides leadership as the Activities Designee.
