Meet our professional team:


Michelle Lawrence-Myers

Administrator

Michelle oversees the direction and coordination of all aspects of resident care, customer service, budgetary control and regulatory compliance.

Michelle has worked for Porterville Convalescent Hospital for almost 17 years. First beginning her career as a Certified Nurse Assistant and then expanding her career as Medical Records Supervisor and today to Administrator.

Andrew Jensen
Dietary Supervisor

Andrew oversees quality of food, proper cleanliness and that every resident’s nutritional needs are met.

Andrew has over 11 years of experience as a Dietary Supervisor. He is also a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Patty Andrighetto, RN

Director of Nursing

Patty is in charge of overseeing all nursing responsibilities. She works closely with residents, family, physicians and nursing staff to assure all residents are safe and content as well as receive the best care and clinical outcomes possible.

Patty has been in nursing for over 16 years.  She started  in the industry, as a volunteer, at age 15.  Soon after, Patty recognized her heartfelt compassion to help and care for others. 

Patty received her degree as a Registered Nurse from Bakersfield College.

"Caring for the elderly is the most rewarding thing I have ever done.  It is my pleasure to assist our residents in any way I can.  I feel honored to be a part of the Porterville Convalescent Hospital family!"

Elizabeth Koop, LVN
Director of Staff Development

Elizabeth provides staff training and in-service education. She also oversees and provides direction to Certified Nurse Assistants, monitors for infection control and ensures residents receive daily quality care.

Elizabeth has been a Licensed Vocational Nurse for over 30 years and has 17 years experience in a skilled nursing setting.

"I grew up in Porterville so most of our residents and families I know personally. The staff and residents are like an extension of my family. This is like my second home, and I can’t see myself working anywhere else."

Kelly Osborn, LVN

MDS Designee

Kelly interviews family members, residents and caregivers to obtain necessary information for their care needs. She also ensures all federally mandated requirements are met.

Kelly has 12 years experience in long term care, and 4 years in acute care. She attended Porterville College to obtain a License in Vocational Nursing.

Alanna Gartung, RN

Assistant Director of Nursing

Alanna helps residents and monitors their conditions. She also helps with new admissions, physician orders, staffing and mandated federal regulations.

Alanna graduated from Bakersfield College as a Registered Nurse in spring 2011.  Prior to joining the team at Porterville Convalescent Hospital, Alanna owned and operated her own business.

Bertha Barnes

Activities Designee

Bertha oversees a full service activity program for the residents.

Bertha has 23 years experience in long term care. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 16 years in both long term and acute care. She has been overseeing the Activities Department for a year.
